Overview
The client was looking to branch out and open her own private practice as a psychologist, and that was when she approached me for this branding project. The main mission of this project was to create an identity that established both a modern, yet welcoming environment for individuals through all walks of life.
With the brand positioned to target both a culturally diverse demographic and young to middle aged adults, I had to balance creating an identity that was both warm and professional.
"I want my work and brand to be known for giving hope to others, as well as giving hope for a different future”

Execution
Capturing the aesthetics, tone, and soul of a moodboard into a brand
My take of the project direction was based off of Japanese graphic design philosophies, imagery, and the concept of komorebi (sunlight filtering through threes). The visual identity of Komorbi Counselling was mostly centered around capturing the feeling of warmth and hope.
To avoid a clinical look, the direction focused mainly on thin monolines, soft typography, and an organic human quality.
